For How Long Are Your Personal Information Retained?
We retain Personal Information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. When we no ongoing legitimate business need to process your Personal Information, we will either delete or deidentify such information.
Therefore, as a general rule, your Personal Information will only be retained for the accomplishment of the purposes for which it was collected, or as necessary to fulfil legal or regulatory obligations.
In the absence of applicable exceptions:
- The Personal Information collected via an online contact form will be kept until the complete processing of your request;
- The Personal Information processed to provide you with the requested services will be kept during our relationship with you;
- The Personal Information collected in your job application will be kept:
- In the event of recruitment further to your job application; during the retention periods applicable to WaterEquity employees;
- In the event of an unsuccessful job application;
- During the three months from the refusal decisions so that you can obtain an explanation about this decision; or
- During two years after your last contact with WaterEquity, but only if you consent to be included in a talent pool in order to provide you with any new professional opportunities within WaterEquity that might interest you.
In addition to this, WaterEquity will process your Personal Information:
- For three years from when our relationship with you ends for direct marketing purposes;
- For five years from when our relationship with you ends for Personal Information retained for evidence purposes;
- For 10 years from the end of the relevant tax year for Personal Information processed for accounting purposes; and
- For 13 months from the collection date for Internet Activity Information.
How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We have implemented technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any Personal Information we process. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your Personal Information. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via digital means is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of the information transmitted to us; therefore, we do not assume any responsibility for any transmission of your information which you do at your own risk.
Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age. By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Website.
