María Paula supports WaterEquity’s private equity and infrastructure investments across emerging markets, bringing experience in infrastructure investments, project finance, and capital markets. Before joining WaterEquity, María Paula worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as part of the Infrastructure Investment team. She worked with the Latin America team, supporting investments across energy, transport, and telecommunications. She later joined the East Asia and Pacific team in Malaysia, supporting the office’s business development efforts.
Prior to joining IFC, María Paula worked at Credicorp Capital, a regional investment bank, where she focused on project finance and capital markets transactions in Colombia.
María Paula holds a degree in Finance and International Trade from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia.
