Andrew Kabucho oversees WaterEquity’s investments in financial institutions across Africa. He is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring of investment opportunities, bringing over 10 years of regional experience to the role.

Prior to joining WaterEquity, Andrew served as an Investment Manager at Kiva, managing a portfolio of financial service providers and social enterprises across more than 10 countries in Africa and the Middle East. He previously held investment management roles at Incofin, FSD Africa, and responsAbility, focusing on deployment of debt capital and capacity building in financial inclusion, inclusive insurance, and agriculture impact segments.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Strathmore University and an Expert in Risk Management certification from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
