Farai joins WaterEquity as Senior Associate, Private Equity and Infrastructure, supporting all phases of the private equity investment lifecycle for growth-stage companies and infrastructure projects. His work spans pipeline origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management. He brings over seven years of experience in investment banking and private equity.
Before WaterEquity, Farai worked at Developing World Markets (DWM), an impact investment manager focused on emerging and frontier markets. On the private equity team, he managed portfolios across global emerging markets and oversaw exit transactions. Prior to DWM, he worked at Verdant Capital, where he raised capital for inclusive financial services companies across Africa.
Farai holds a Master of Science in Finance and Investments from the National University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from Midlands State University, both in Zimbabwe.
