Marcela supports the Risk and Portfolio Management team by contributing to portfolio oversight and risk analysis across global investments. Her work facilitates data-driven decision-making and ensures alignment with investment standards. She collaborates across teams to strengthen risk management and enhance portfolio performance.
Marcela began her career in 2016 at a pharmaceutical company in Cali, Colombia, where she focused on strategic planning and innovation initiatives. In 2022, she transitioned into the impact investing sector by joining Global Partnerships, where she supported fund and portfolio management and led financial analysis and monitoring of microfinance institutions across Latin America and Africa.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics from Icesi University in Cali.
