Rebecca (Becky) Cruz manages investor relations at WaterEquity, cultivating long-term LP relationships through timely reporting, fund communications, and compliance documentation. She oversees onboarding processes and refines operational systems to support investor engagement and satisfaction. Becky brings more than 10 years of experience across private equity, global investments, and regulated financial institutions, including work in emerging and frontier markets.
Prior to joining WaterEquity, Becky served as a Reporting Manager at Freddie Mac, where she led governance reporting and compliance controls across Enterprise Operations and Technology. Before Freddie Mac, she held progressive investor relations roles at Vista Equity Partners, Fannie Mae, EIG Global Energy Partners, and ACON Investments, managing LP communications, quarterly fund reporting, investor onboarding, and portal operations across private equity and global investment platforms. She began her career at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, managing reporting for a donor-funded investment portfolio.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.
