Introducing the WaterEquity Everspring Fund: Scaling Impact for Water and Sanitation in Emerging Markets

We are excited to announce the launch of the WaterEquity Everspring Fund—the first open-ended strategy from WaterEquity—designed to drive measurable impact in water and sanitation access across emerging markets. This fund aims to serve as a perpetual source of funding for our financial institution borrowers ultimately expanding access to water and sanitation solutions for more people.

Since our inception, WaterEquity has launched and deployed four closed-end funds investing in water access via financial institutions across the globe. In 2023, we launched the Water & Climate Resilience Fund, a private equity and infrastructure fund that takes a macro view of expanding water access and tackling water access challenges at a systemic level. Throughout, we’ve collaborated with our sister organization, Water.org, to develop the water and sanitation market through strategic local partnerships.

Now, with the WaterEquity Everspring Fund, we are introducing an open-ended vehicle exclusively focused on universal access to water and sanitation (SDG6) in emerging markets. The global water and sanitation crisis is not an unsolvable challenge—it’s an opportunity to drive lasting change. With the WaterEquity Everspring Fund, we’re building a sustainable, scalable solution that meets the urgency of today, with the intention to create impact for generations to come.
